Our Mission
Animals and Humans in Disaster is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building community resilience in Arizona. We work alongside emergency responders, community partners, and volunteers to ensure that no one faces crisis alone — and that beloved pets are never forgotten in times of disaster.

What We Do

Rapid deployment of trained volunteers and resources when disaster strikes Arizona communities, ensuring people and pets receive immediate care.
Building local capacity through training, teamwork, and communication so communities can prepare for and recover from crisis together.
Ensuring beloved animals are never left behind in crisis. We provide pet rescue, temporary shelter, and reunification services.
